Born El Salvador, an accountant by profession. Segula career auditing public in this country Jossimar Caas University (UCA). My experience in the professional field is 26 years. For 6 years I live in Hempstead, Long Island. I desempeo as an accountant and part-time consultant in my own business, "JG Consultant Advisor" to travs which environment and development projects focusing on culture and the arts. In parallel, I've been developing my artistic career. My grandfather was an artist and I heredde l that talent. In 1985, I had the opportunity to meet the maestro Armando Sols, one of the icons of the plastic arts of the Savior. In addition to attending the academy of art and drawing for two years, where l aprendde the theory of art, color, light, shadow and other methods, compartcon l friendship. To date, my experience in this field is 11 years. At first, given the constraints existing opportunities and obstacles for budding artist in El Salvador, my native country, do not visualize the development of art as a career, because painting was something that was relegated to a mere hobby to share with family and friends. Once in the U.S., the story was repeated. Due to the lack of economic resources, my ignorance of the rules of the American system and community and the need to solve my basic necessities and expenses, quedlimitado to work to survive and develop my career in the arts ocupun background. Notwithstanding that, my interests led me to exchange ideas with other artists, share their hopes and frustrations about the lack of support from the community, institutions and organizations; to know the conditions, censorship and restrictions usually imposed by public organizations or private businesses that can help the diffusion of art, whether it is a recognized artist or emerging; to know one of those talents hidden, whose work has remained in his basement for twenty years due to lack of opportunity to perform as an artist and the need to survive. Even more, to assess the socio economical and environment of the Latino community, can asvisualizar one of his problems: a youth who depends on our future and unfortunately the mercy of street gangs and the dropouts, family violence or family disintegration. As a result, saw the need to promote community cultural roots in order to invite you to return to forgotten values, such as family, the nucleus of society, to engender bonds of friendship and unity to achieve greatest achievements in American society that holds us and gives us the opportunity to grow, opportunity wasted by our inability to work together toward the same end, to seek professional and artistic autorrealizacin. JGuz, that's the way as I sign my works. I define myself as a self taught artist, the technique of handling read and mixed with acrylic gesso, besides china ink, watercolor and digital art, Ascom writing. My source of inspiration is the context that surrounds me, and family experiences, ideals and vision of shaping a message that invites reflection. My challenge, the search of self an artist, what makes me irreverent or traditional common patterns that rely on other artists, sketches, a defined palette of colors, rules of substance and form, symmetry themed. I have no preconceived idea for the realization of a work, I seek to make the process appear on the work itself. I prefer to use color in its pure, undiluted or mixed prior to that in the process of using the spatula esfumacino intermingling and whimsical colors and textures emerge unimaginable. The use of acrylic Gesso estpresente in abstract style for the construction of symbols or figures in combination with bright colors give life to the picture that emerges or left glimpse.
